Park Bongsul-je Jeokbyeok-ga by Lee Seohee
“Park Bongsul-je Jeokbyeok-ga” by Leo Seohee, a certified trainee of the Jeonbuk State Intangible Cultural Heritage Pansori Sugung-ga, belongs to the Dongpyeon-je style and is a continuation of the style of master Song Mangap. This style has been passed down through the masters Song Mangap, Park Bongrae, Park Bongsul, and Kim Ilgu. It is characterized by its unique delivery, conciseness, well-structured narrative, and delicate yet colorful rhythms. Additionally, the style conveys a aesthetic sense of boldness and majesty through a sturdy and fine voice using the ujo mode. The buk accompaniment will be performed by Do Gyeonghan, a permanent member of the Gwangju Municipal Changguek Company.
