Birth: My Innermost Rite portrays the dream of a woman yearning for a child. Shaman Hong Hyojin’s singing and movements merge with Bluechant’s electronic soundscapes to expand into "Donghaean Soul." Through the narratives of dreamlike figures, this performance offers a mystical, immersive experience blending traditional shamanic depth with modern sound.

BLUECHANT is a performing arts collective featuring shaman Hong Hyojin, Jeong Yeonrak, and electronic musicians Lee Jinpoong and Jeong Wongi. They reinterpret Korean shamanic arts to forge their own musical language, "Donghaean Soul." Selected as a 2026 National Intangible Heritage Center Creative Lab artist, they presented BIRTH: My Innermost Rite and continue to perform at platforms including ISARS and the Intangible Heritage Festival.
